The Pattersons

John and Kelsey's wedding was one of the first I've ever photographed and this April they will be celebrating 5 years of marriage! I've had the priveldge of maintaining a relationship with this awesome couple and have been so blessed by them. Since getting married, the Pattersons have been busy. They are currently living in Spain, loving and serving the beautiful people of Valencia. We got to witness this first hand during our backpacking trip, when we came to stay with them two years ago, after our travel plans to Switzerland fell through, and we can't wait until the day we get to go back. Here are a few favorites from a little session we had during their recent visit.

Jake + Karen's Engagement Session

Marry the person that you're so comfortable being yourself with that there's hardly any trying - there is simply being. Jake + Karen fell in love over the course of many's true! After several casual movie nights as just friends, these two became something more, and I'm sure glad they did. Their love is sweet, easy and oh so fun. Can't wait to photograph their wedding next summer! <3

They're Getting Married!

Tim + Kelly are getting married today and I'm just so darn excited that I needed to share a few favorites from their engagement shoot! I'm not gonna try and put any more words to what I'm feeling. I am just so. happy. This is what dreams are made of.

Iven + Kristina's Woodsy Engagement

Iven and Kristina are getting married Summer 2017 and their engagement session made me SO excited for their wedding! These two could not stop kissing and giggling their entire shoot which, of course, made my job so so easy. They love each other real well and are going to ROCK marriage!

Cameron + Rachel's Intimate Wedding

The best word I could use to describe Cameron + Rachel's Santa Barbara wedding day would be "meaningful". They didn't want to stick with the norm, they wanted their day to feel personal and to represent who they are. For starters, they didn't have a first look or special moment where they saw each other. They had planned everything together leading up to this day, they wanted to go into the celebration the same way. Together. They even walked each other down the aisle (a first for me), and I kinda loved it. Love was full + in the air on this day, and it was evident in every moment.
